Important Party Pack Update: Please confirm your preferred method of Watch Party Pack distribution this week. Please respond to the email you received from us by Friday, May 7 with your preference, and we will confirm the number of Party Packs and the date for your pick-up or delivery on Monday, May 10. Please note, mailing Watch Party Packs is limited to those guests who are out of the immediate area.

Distribution options:
  • Pick up Party Packs for myself and my guests at the Center's administrative offices during the week of May 10
  • Please deliver Party Packs for myself and my guests to my home or office during the week of May 10

Thank you for your commitment to the Science Center and willingness to serve as a member of the Host Committee for our virtual event, Celebrating Science: A Launch the Future Watch Party on Thursday, May 20 beginning at 4:30 pm.

The event is just over 2 weeks away now, and things are getting exciting! We hope you have begun to spread the word and invite guests to attend this inspirational Watch Party with you. If not, don’t worry! Here are some tips to get you started:  
  • Download the Host Resources Toolkit for complete information.
  • Invite F.R.A.N.K.: Compile a list of your Friends, Relatives, Acquaintances, Neighbors, and Kids’ friends’ parents! Your goal is to secure 10 guests to attend the event, so your invite list should include at least 20 people since not everyone you invite will be able to make it.  
  • Always make your invitations personal – we have found that guests respond more positively to one-on-one invites via email, text, or phone call. You'll find a sample invitation in the Host Resources Toolkit!

May 13 - One-week reminder to your guests; hosts begin delivering Watch Party Packs
May 19 - Finish delivering Watch Party Packs and send guests a quick reminder
May 20 - Tune in to the Pre-Party at 4:30pm EDT
